I put together a front door lock-set using a Kiwi digital keypad dead bolt on top and this 'closet' handle as the lower handle. The modern front handles we find have that long handle and cost over $100. All we needed was a lockless handle and this one delivered.This handle is very very sturdy/heavy and feels high quality. The weight of the handle makes opening the door feel easy and luxurious.This did have a notch that allows it to sink into the door. Because I installed on an exterior metal door, i drilled a small hole so the handle didnt dent the door.Also, if youre replacing a round handle with this square one, you may have to do some touchup painting where the circle was.I could not use this lock. It does not fit doors a little thicker. I wish it fit.Easy to install on existing door. Check your measurements. Great quality productLove love love this door handle!!
